All of sudden, Sarah told me a strory.

'Anjing yang tamak'

Seekor anjing sedang berjalan- jalan,

Dia nampak seketul tulang dan menggonggong tulang itu,

Sampai di sungai dia nampak bayang - bayang sendiri,,,,,,,

Seriously is that what i heard? Rasa terharu sangat because I used to know this story when I was 7 kut... and obviously, i did not know the word 'menggonggong' at that time.

As to date;

- she recognize all the numbers and alphabets (both rumi and jawi, but don't know how to read yet)

- Memorise and can recite doa makan and doa penerang hati with the english translation (which the translation mcm bahasa german but it is okay)

-Can recite certain ayat-ayat dalam solat i.e a little bit of takhiyat awal, sedikit doa qunut.

Of Rainbow and Snow.

Sarah has a very big interest towards rainbow and snow. She'll excitedly scream for it whenever reading looking at the pictures in books.

"Mama look, rainbow (pointing at the picture).

" Mama, saya nak naik rainbow. : "Well, rainbow tak boleh naik. Kita boleh tengok je.

" Ok, nanti kita tengok rainbow ya. : "Ok, nanti kita cari. (where the heck I can find it? Keluar rumah Subuh gajah, balik rumah nak dekat Maghrib)

"Mama, nak snow. (pointing at the igloo): "Oh, itu bukan snow, itu igloo, I-G-L-O-O.

" Ok, nak snow dengan I-BLOO: " Ok. one day ya? (Dalam hati nanti ajak papa gi I-City)

Sarah already has her dreams. Nak pi rainbow and nak main snow. I am so sedih. One day childrens, one day, we'll save money and we go to some countries yang ada snow ya.

Some Story To Tell

I have a lot to tell.

Sarah has been progressing well at school. But, this school got lots of homework which she is pretty excited as everytime balik rumah she will ask to "belajar buku." Hopefully the excitement last till forever lah or else we will penat to nag at her to do the homework later on.

But the drama at the kindy already started. Last friday she came back and pointed at his swollen lips. Apparently, one of the boys main lasak sangat and tertepis tangan to her mouth. Sedikit berdarah but it is okay. And yesterday, she lost one of her sock. So balik rumah semalam pakai sock sebelah je. -__-

Sophia has been clingy as ever. As I go to work every morning at 6.30am, so when she wakes up memang she will cry for me. Sedikit sadis disini as I could imagine how mr husband have to juggle with the girls alone. To prepare Sarah for school and to layan Pia's tantrum at the same time, and he himself got to work later on. Sure pening!

Mr husband as always he is, loves eating and always in denial thinking that he is eating healthily. I personally think that he isn't fat, but is just big. Gotta watch his eating habit as his family got history of diabetic, high blood pressure and etc.

And me? I got to lose some weight. Reasons? later I tell you.

Sarah is going to school (Part 2)

Truthfully, susah betul nak cari kindy kat area Kuang.

Our criteria: Bukan shop lot, islamic dan english medium (kalau campur malay pun ok). How we wish kat sini ada Genius Aulad or Little Caliph, tapi since Ar razi kids method mungkin lebih kurang so that's it.

Too early to tell this tadika bagus or tidak, since kalau cari kat google memang takde satu review pun. So, now i am making one lah. From my findings;-

- School compound ok. Tapi since yang dekat Kuang ni kawasan dia dekat dengan hutan jadi kadang2 ada monyet. Hopefully the teachers are aware of that lah.

- Small group as the kids are divided by year so utk kelas 4 tahun so far ada 12 orang je.

- Lantai kindy maybe kena mop selalu since everytime Sarah balik mesti socks hitam gila.

- Class start dari pukul 8.30 pagi - 1 ptg. Ada makan pukul 10 dan before balik dalam pukul 12.30 tgh. This is good sebab some kindy bagi makan sekali and sekeping biskut je.(true story)

- Teachers so far are very friendly and helpful.

- If ada info, teachers akan give memo yang akan di paste dalam buku. Each kids wajib ada satu buku utk memo. Yang lain2 macam buku kerja semua provide by tadika since dah masuk dalam yuran.

- Yuran is divided by 2 semester, 1st sem (Jan-June) dalam 5 ratus lebih, and second sem (July onwards)  dalam 4 ratus. Tapi masa registration tu habis dalam 8 ratus lebih jugak lah inclusive of uniforms and what not. Then monthly rm165.

Is Sarah coping well?

Jawabnya tak juga. Since masa first day she dah demam and kena warded, pastu Dr tak bagi pi kindy seminggu which at that time is orientation week. So last monday hantar dia, bergenang air mata (tapi x nangis). Tapi luckily her teacher baik, greet and lead her to the class.

Everyday, mr husband yang akan hantar as saya pi kerja pukul 6.30 pagi, and balik Her mak Ros will fetch her up. In this one week, setiap hari after sending her to kindy, mr husband will call and update me the progress. How dia taknak mandi and wanted me to mandikan and pakaikan baju, and pegang tangan papa tak nak lepas. Tapi dia tak nangis lah.

Everyday mesti tanya dia belaja apa, makan apa, kawan dengan sapa. Tapi dia taknak berkawan sangat. maybe took some time to warm up (like me, hehehehe), and mr husband said, kalau hantar dia pagi2 and when her teacher yg baik tu greet her, pastu dia ikut je cikgu tu and duduk dgn dia. This morning pulak, the teacher dtg lewat so dia takde to greet her and sarah, air mata pun dah bergenang. Sedih and tak mahu mingle with other kids.

How we adapt to this?

Memang penat. since saya sampai rumah selalunya pukul 7, sometimes at that time mr husband tak balik lagi. So mandi ala kadar, masak, sapu sikit, dan sambil melayan the clingy Pia. Tunggu mr husband balik, lepas dia solat suma makan. Pastu check bag sarah, tgk ada homework ke, siap2 kan baju socks, tudung dengan name tag so esok pagi mr husband siap2 kan dia tak kelam kabut. Tau2 je lah nak handle kids pagi2 much harder kan. dengan Pia lagi. So this week kitorang suma tidur pkl 9.30pm. Kalau tak tidur, alamat Sarah pun tak tidur lah then besok bangun pagi payah.

I was wondering, how do we cope up nanti bila the kids are going to real school?

Kids Say (&Do) The Darndest Things.

My darling Sarah has always been a lovely little girl, i mean she is really polite like will asked for permission to watch her fav disney channel shows.

" Mama, saya nak tengok ki moush (mickey mouse) boleh lak (tak) ?"

though at times can be harsh at her words. I reckon that she did not even know the meaning i.e the word 'tak guna'. maybe she heard people used it.

We played foot(hand) ball yesterday and when the ball passed over her, she'll scream. "tak guna, bola jauh". amboi-amboi bahasa kau nak...

My husband placed a cute heart shape alas kaki in front of the back door, and suddenly she ran into and kiss it. Mmmuahhh mmmuahhh with all of her heart.

husband:  why Sarah kiss alas kaki tu?

Sarah: Look papa, ini ailebiyu. while keep on mmuaahhh mmuahhh that..  and hugged him afterwards.

Sarah has chicken pox!

She has to be quarantine for 2 weeks, which means Pia has to be away for a while (thanks to Mak Ros) and both of me and Mr husband have to take turns to stay at home.

So I may be boring, and I may update the blog frequently, or I could finish reading A Doctor In The House, or I could wipe the glass windows, or try to bake a cake or I could just catch my sleep.

Sejak Sophia lahir...

Sarah nak mandi balik dalam baby bath tub yang sekarang digunakan untuk mandikan Pia.

Sarah nak balik bantal dia yang kami bagi Pia pakai sekarang.

dan sekarang ni pulak Sarah nak tidur dalam baby cot balik....

Tu belum lagi berebut nak baring kat riba mama bila mama pangku Pia...

Pendek kata, apa yang dia nampak Pia buat or dapat Sarah mesti nak yang sama...

Sarah @ Playground.

Sarah dah lama mengidam nak naik swing. Everytime we passed by playground area near the pasar malam nearby, mata dan kaki dia macam melekat aje kat swing. But since the timing was never right, sebab usually we went there during late evening nak dekat Maghrib so takdelah entertain her intrigueness tu.

During long public holiday recently, we made an effort to go to Taman Metropolitan Kepong. It was damn hot and we decided to berteduh jap kat bawah pokok.

Tapi this girl is so eager to see the playground area, tak hirau panas terik kat situ.




Bila kami guided her to the swing, terus excited!

Bila di ajak balik menangis sebab tak puas main boleh? Ni actually kami pura-pura tinggalkan dia kat belakang sebab dia demand nak main lagi.

Tapi kejap je dia nangis, then dia behave balik and tengok kites yang banyak kat langit.

Bila dahaga minum air, tapak tangan papa sama besar dengan muka Sarah! ;p

Sebelum balik pergi lepak kat tepi tasik, perghh..angin sepoi-sepoi bahasa, menampar-nampar muka rasa syiok woh...

She's A Fighter, She's So Much With an Attitude, She's My Daughter.

I have so many things to update on Sarah. She is 1.5 years old and we actually missed her actual appointment date for her last jab. Just realize it last thursday and so glad that Mr. husband willingly to drive her alone there. Well, usually if it is for check up only he will go by himself but for a jab, I need to be there to hold Sarah since she's freaked out. Very rare to see husbands go for their child appointment by themselves kan? Proud of him.

Sarah has been very easy to handle though at times we are still have to face with her attitude. At nights, she will fall asleep at around 9-ish and we both are very glad for having our time for leisure. Speaking of this, at first I thought that she is naturally a fast asleep child but after keep rewinding and remembering past times, it is actually us who teach her to sleep early. When she was around 4 ~ 6 months, she was put in bed at around 8-ish although she was still awake. The lights are off and we even lay down beside her to put her in mood. ( and that was where i missed Buletin Utama and even Oprah!). It has become her routine now and she is quite easy to put into bed and hardly wakes up at night. Parenting tip for today: If we want our child to do something, we too must do the same thing. Macam kes ini, kerana kami mahu Sarah tidur awal, kami pun (pura-pura) tidur awal.

Sarah can be as sweet as lollipop or as cute as bunny but she can change her attitude just in a minute. She is quite garang and I really like the fact that she is a fighter and doesn't like people around to bully her. We went for an open house last sunday and there were bunch of toddlers are playing together and Sarah joined them. Suddenly a 2 year boy went to Sarah and smacked her head by using a toy car. I was surprised and wanted to grab her fast but before I could do that, she smacked the boy with a toy lorry. Even bigger and more painful. Serves him right and I am very proud of her. Even his father said the same thing because the boy is so stubborn.

Now she is as cute as bunny.

Next she may be your worst nightmare. Hahaha

My father said that her attitude is exactly like mine when I was small. No surprise there, it's in the blood. I hope she will have both of our attitude (very determine like me and friendly like mr husband). Seriously, she is so friendly. She waves her hands to everyone i.e other kids, even to an ice cream man and to a totally strangers.

She can be independent sometimes. Setakat nak suruh put her used clothes in the laundry basket, or throw her diapers to the dustbin, buka pakai kasut sendiri, tolong main-main air while I wash the plates and kemas-kemas rak pinggan takde hal. (The latter tu, sarcasm ok)

Boleh diharap dah!

Tapi, paling dia suka honking everyone. She knows the location of the horn in my car or her father's. Selamba je honk bising-bising. Anak dara saya lasak orangnya.

Nevertheless, dia tetap has a girly feelings, suka tengok cermin. Maybe she thinks she's cute and whe she saw her reflextion, her reaction was "Eeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiii"

She is still a picky eater when she is with me, and most of the times she wants to feed by herself. Kalau tak dapat menangis macam kena cubit.

But end up, it was not what her wants. Cuma nak play with food.

Inilah dia, buah hati, pengarang jantung kami suami isteri. Penat macam mana pun rasa relief bila tengok wajah dan keletah dia.

Seronok kan ada junior sendiri?

Sini Situ Sarah Sini

Sarah sudah hampir ke setahun setengah. Kurang pula bercerita pasal Sarah lately nih. Asyik bercetita pasal perihal mama saja.

BTW, as of now she is one active girl. panjat memanjat, guling mengguling dan memang tak menang tangan dan kaki untuk menangkap dan mengejar dia. Cheeky girl too she is. Trademark nya senyum nampak gigi 4 batang itu.

Sarah juga suka panjat belakang kami, main henjut-henjut. Sabar ajelah. Luckily papa selalu offer main jongkat-jongkit kaki sendiri. One of her fav tu...

Oh, sekarang dia sudah pandai demand to be put in her highchair. Sejak puasa ni, almost everyday dia akan accompany us di meja makan untuk bersahur dan berbuka (setiap hari). pukul 4.30 pagi kita bangun dia pun sibuk nak bangun dan makan sekali. Siap tadah tangan untuk berdoa sekali. Kalau dia dengar azan maghrib, cepat-cepat tadah tangan untuk baca doa berbuka. Sangat comel.

Kalau waktu kami solat, dia akan duduk dan tunggu di tepi sejadah dan aminkan doa bersama-sama setelah selesai. Yang paling kelakar bila dia tak sabar-sabar untuk bukakan kain saya sendiri. Setiap kali selepas buka telekung mesti Sarah yang akan lucutkan kain saya. hihihi. Cepat-cepat nak ajak mama main kan?



Tapi, Sarah seperti tidak boleh berenggang dengan pacifier dia. Kalau kami sorokkan, dia akan cari bawah bantal, katil ataupun celah-celah sofa sambil menonjolkan emosi sedih. Macam mana mahu menjarakkan puting ye. Ada siapa-siapa boleh share?

Kadangkala, kenakalan Sarah buat kami hilang sabar. Sekarang dia sudah mula selongkar laci meja solek. Paling suka main tabur-tabur bedak, keluarkan cotton bud satu-satu setiap hari dan buang ke luar tingkap, main peralatan memasak macam tapis, jag plastik dan mangkuk. Selongkar beg kerja saya sudah jadi rutin harian, main kunci kereta dan selongkar wallet papa. Kadang-kadang selamba dia buang duit ke luar tingkap. Memang salah kami sebab tak letak di tempat tinggi tapi kadang-kadang terlupa. Yang paling menggeramkan, Sarah sudah patahkan spec saya. Kemudian saya buat yang baru dan baru keluar dari kedai 2 minggu lepas. Pagi tadi bangun tidur tengok spec dah takde. Tapi saya sudah letak ditempat tinggi. Rupa-rupanya dia tengah main sambil nak mengangkangkan kaki spec tu. Macam nak luruh jantung. Yelah, spec yang tiada jenama itu pun harganya sudah empat ratus lebih. Tak sanggup saya nak buat semula.

Apapun, setiap perilaku Sarah itu sebenarnya adalah proses tumbesaran dan pembelajaran dia. Tapi ye lah, as a normal parent (tanyalah mana-mana parent pun) memang tak lari dari rasa geram dan mengeluh sendiri. Bila kita mengeluh tu, bukan maknanya kita nak menyekat dia tapi cuma luahan rasa sahaja. Setiap ibu bapa itu sudah tentu mahukan anak mereka menjadi yang terbaik, terpandai dan terhebat dalam apa jua pun. Jadi tidak perlu lah compare dengan apa yang (baik-baik sahaja) ditonjolkan di idiot box itu.


Sarah semakin besar, saya akan rindukan dia satu hari nanti. Gelak manja, aksi lincahnya tak mungkin dapat ditandingi oleh apa jua pun. Dan pada saya having a kid is the best 'thing' ever happen to me.

The Saturday and A Sipu-Sipu Girl.

How do you guys fill your weekends? As for me, I love to stay at home, do laundry, cooking for husband, play with the kid just like any other typical housewife. But I even love to go out and I realized that, there is always an excuse to drag mr husband to the shopping mall every weekend. and our favourite place is of course within the area of Ikano/The Curve since it is just a 20 mins driving from our home.

So today we went out for the purpose of buying a friend's wedding gift. So being me, I am not going to buy the gift only. There will always be additional unplanned items will be purchased.



End up, mr husband are buying more groceries, a few shirts and pants and I choose to buy the Jco Doughnuts.

Babe, this time around, aku tak beli sedozen dah sebab takut membazir. Yes, I am such a greedy person that I could bought a dozen of doughnuts even though I don't like them.

And ya, another unplanned purchase for Sarah from my own pocket. I don't know why I can't be thrifty when buying her things.

We bought a drawing paper and a color pencil for Sarah since she likes to conteng-conteng mr husband's account book and boy, she is so excited.

One thing about my daughter is, she is very easy with strangers. Except if those unfamiliar faces suddenly nak dukung or kejar dia as she will scream and cry out loud. But if anyone approach her slowly, baby talk or even smile to her, then she will become one gedik girl. Seriously, my daughter is a truly girly gediks girl. Try lah smile at her the she will senyum tersipu-sipu, simpul-simpul tangan dan gigit jari.

Fakta Tidak Penting: I think I wanna buy a new watch lah!

SOS Soap, A Milestone and What With Having Another Baby.

I managed to get my husband to drive me to The Curve at 8 pm, yesterday just to get this! All because he refused to get my thing from the beauty counter during the day although he happened to be at a near place to Jusco. as according to him, if it is sold in a pharmacy or supermarket then it is okay for him to get it, but since it is from the beauty counter, a Big No-no from him. I am still wondering why? Why is it so hard for him?

Yeap, this is so much important to me. SOS. It's the KOSE facial soap. Haven't I tell you that this soap does wonders to my skin? Because it is specially formulated for acne prone skin and it really helps to treat one. At least for me. I get compliments from my friends after two months of using it (together with the face emulsion of course!) The best part is, it doesn't cost a bomb although it is sold at beauty counter! The pricing is just more or less like buying a local beauty product like Natasya or Sendayu Tinggi and even Felisa cosmetics cost higher. I have an acne prone skin remember? So I HAVE TRIED all kinds of products with various prices and effects.

Being me, since I thought that my skin has improved, I decided to try the whitening product. So I bought this white powder wash in April together with Shirosumi essence. They are a bit pricier but I want it, hoping for a smooth white skin.

But then it hit me! Even though it is from the same brand, they don't suit my skin at all. I started to develop tiny pimples at my chin and it looks horrible. Well at first I thought it could be the hormone and the sun (since we just got back from Langkawi) but it doesn't heal. I on the other hand is still keep using it since first, because of the price. mahal tu. rugi tak guna. and second, I am still hoping for a miracle. After three months, those pimples do not stop growing at my face, and now has developing a habitat at my forehead and the worst part is people has started to notice and asks me why? stress..stress.. When I like to pick on them, it leaves an ugly, big scars on my face so I have to find another resort which is to cure it with DalacinT. But ini pun seems doesn't work for me well like before.

Then I knew that I have to get that facial soap NOW, and can't even wait for weekend to grab it. And so far, I found those tiny pimples has started shrinking upon 1 day of using it. I just hope it will work well for me. Oh yeah, this soap kan can treat backne as well. I used to have one but after belasah the soap at my back, they were gone and never come back.

On the other hand, my lil Sarah has grown up now. Look at her.

She has my lips and my brows. has mr husband's nose too. But I don't know where she got those big eyes.

So her milestones are:-

- She has 7 batang gigi.

- She loves to imitate me like wearing my office pass around her neck, and selongkar my handbag and purse, and playing with my blusher brush and make it a mini broom. (sabar aje lah)

- She likes me to reading her books.

- She loves to play with cats, look at hens and cocks and fishes and refering them as ' Bubu'

- She now accepts instructions like after changing her diapers (only if she peed) she is the one who throw the used diapers to the dustbin and put her clothes in the laundry basket. Although sometimes, she is confused and mistakenly put the diaper in the basket and vice versa. ;)

- She is one active girl.

My ex male boss always asks me whether has she started sucking her own toes? which means when am I going to get pregnant again. I got sick everytime he asked me the same old question again and again. ( he started asked this since Sarah is just 6 months old yo!) And when he asked me again last two days, I just replied " I never teach her to suck her toes" Haha. I hope he understands.

Oh BTW, I want to congratulate my dear friend leen for 'convicted' again with her OP. Can't wait for her to blog about her second pregnancy. She will be my guru for my second pregnancy when I am ready, and have rezeki to have one. Boleh ya leen?

A Rice Marathon and The Pau Baby.

I had a special rice marathon today.

Had nasi lemak breakfast with paru at 10.00 am, and a delicious nasi minyak at my cousin's wedding at 11.15 am. It's so sedap and absolutely a guilty pleasure. The condiments are just nice and perfect. And the wedding, all went smoothly except for an inexperienced bridesmaid that she should see and learn more how a bridesmaid should perform.

Anyway, we dropped by at my friend's house to visit her newborn baby. Abot, your Dhia Rizqi is absolutely cute and so tembam and gebu like those kuih pau you served me this afternoon. I am sorry if the gifts are too simple. FYI, i would love to get something from Mothercare since it's on sale and I may get good gifts with better price, but I have no time babe. My husband was extremely busy this week and he never allowed me to go out alone with my baby. The truth is, he is afraid if I could not handle our girl. So, I bought your gifts last night. Hopefully you will like it and I am sure Rizqi will look handsome on the Disney shirt. Those baby fan, the idea came up since I thought you might need it and you have yet to buy it. Because during my time, it didn't even on my to-buy lists. So I thought, maybe you too but boy I was wrong. If my friend thought that I am a left brainer person, I almost forgot you are one creature that Allah bless with the most left brainer thinking. How could I think that you will miss to buy that? Silly me. Oh I have an idea. You can put one at the baby cot, and one in a car. You might need it later like when you bring him out to stroll the park or maybe some tasik in a hot weather and suddenly there you go, you have an extra fan in the car. Baby Rizqi won't be cranky because of that baby fan that Aunty Aisyah bought you that keeps him cool. Hohoho..

Errm, did I think too much?

What does my little Sarah offer me now, at 1 year old? She offers to drive me to the shopping mall. (yeah right... but i hope she'll do that when she reach 18 years old someday and have to bear with me throughout the journey.. Hey, what to expect? I am still the cool mom who nags... kuikuikui...)
