It Is A Pandemic.

What I have been afraid of happened!

Today, 2 cases of H1N1 confirmed at the company that I work. Both of them just went back from the outstation, one made a primary school in this area closed for a week, and the other made the whole department closed.

Some of other employees that have direct contact with them are just a meter away from my workstation.

OMG!
I just hope and pray that no more people will get infected as I am so scared.

I HAVE A BABY AT HOME!

No more good watch for me every tuesday,

And that is really frustrating.

Questions and Answers

When our baby has grown up and in her toddler years, of course there would be many exciting things can be done or share with. One thing that most parent should prepare is when our kids has started talking and started asking us questions.

I still remember when my mom used to babysit our neighbour's daughter, she drove us mad with asking us questions on and on again. It was tiresome especially when we could not gave satisfiying answers to her.

Tho' Sarah haven't ask us those kind of questions, we think that we should prepare or google on it in advance. You know, just to be sure.

So, during our visit to the shopping mall last tuesday, there was a books clearance at the Centre court of Ikano. While I was scouring for some good readings, I spotted one book that will definitely be my guidance soon.

It's a thick book, with lots of possible Q&A for kids and it is cheap.

When I flipped through the book, I found that it is just not for kids but it is for us (adults) too. (or at least for me.) They have those kind of basic questions like " What is a sky"? kind of questions but the book offers more.

Do you ever know when the flush toilet invented. I was stunned and laughing all day. and Sarah, Are you going to ask momma this question?

And even explain on glaciers, which for sure great for info but I think if my daughter were fed by these kind of facts and info during the early years, Don't you think she will become a geek someday? and no fun at all. I don't want to spoil her childhood memories that much lah.

Or maybe I would. :)

The Friend's Wedding.

We attend two kenduri today and I was exciting, looking forward for the food. The first one in the morning was at my father's neighbour. Just a simple doa selamat but the foods were awesome! ;)

Later in the afternoon we headed to my Uni friend's wedding, Eddy at Pandan Lake Club. It was supposed to be our so-called gathering but most of us couldn't make it due to some circumstances. But I am glad to be there although we are not able to meet with bride and groom personally since they were too busy. However, I managed to spoke with the groom's mother and pass our present to her.

They have a black and white theme and it was beautiful.

Us ;)

Shila, I nearly wear the exactly same color of baju dan tudung biru like yours tau.

We were so tired and have to go straight home at 4 pm although at first, we planned to go to the mall. But too tired and sleepy and ending up all of sleep until 6 pm. Then bila woke up terasa lapar and mr husband asked me to cook.

Fries with chicken cheese scallop, baby sawi tumis dan ayam masak sos resepi suka hati.

Perfect!

The Saturday and A Sipu-Sipu Girl.

How do you guys fill your weekends? As for me, I love to stay at home, do laundry, cooking for husband, play with the kid just like any other typical housewife. But I even love to go out and I realized that, there is always an excuse to drag mr husband to the shopping mall every weekend. and our favourite place is of course within the area of Ikano/The Curve since it is just a 20 mins driving from our home.

So today we went out for the purpose of buying a friend's wedding gift. So being me, I am not going to buy the gift only. There will always be additional unplanned items will be purchased.

End up, mr husband are buying more groceries, a few shirts and pants and I choose to buy the Jco Doughnuts.

Babe, this time around, aku tak beli sedozen dah sebab takut membazir. Yes, I am such a greedy person that I could bought a dozen of doughnuts even though I don't like them.

And ya, another unplanned purchase for Sarah from my own pocket. I don't know why I can't be thrifty when buying her things.

We bought a drawing paper and a color pencil for Sarah since she likes to conteng-conteng mr husband's account book and boy, she is so excited.

Her first artwork. Jangan conteng dinding lepas ni sudah!

One thing about my daughter is, she is very easy with strangers. Except if those unfamiliar faces suddenly nak dukung or kejar dia as she will scream and cry out loud. But if anyone approach her slowly, baby talk or even smile to her, then she will become one gedik girl. Seriously, my daughter is a truly girly gediks girl. Try lah smile at her the she will senyum tersipu-sipu, simpul-simpul tangan dan gigit jari.

And this one is a picture of her yang tengah tersipu-sipu untuk diambil gambar.

Fakta Tidak Penting: I think I wanna buy a new watch lah!

What Makes (Y)our Friday?

Breakfast at Sg. Choh.

Lunch at KLCC

Dinner at home.

Do you get it?

Sarah's babysitter asked me a few days ago, asking for my opinion since her husband is going to buy a new car. Knowing that they are a seven family members so I suggest her to wait for our new MPV which will be launch in this coming November.

She then asked about the other model available in the market since her husband has done a test drive at a showroom and since I am in charge of the warranty so she wanted to survey the quality of the car.

So I went with " We have kereta pelanduk but then sudah stop production, and same goes to Kereta Ikan. The one that available is Kereta Burung, Kereta MyKad and Vavi." I even inform her about each specialties, the warranty condition and what not.

But when I asked her which car that her husband has test driven?

Her answer is seriously I wanted to smack her:

Oh, Kereta Persona. without feeling guilty.

SOS Soap, A Milestone and What With Having Another Baby.

I managed to get my husband to drive me to The Curve at 8 pm, yesterday just to get this! All because he refused to get my thing from the beauty counter during the day although he happened to be at a near place to Jusco. as according to him, if it is sold in a pharmacy or supermarket then it is okay for him to get it, but since it is from the beauty counter, a Big No-no from him. I am still wondering why? Why is it so hard for him?

Yeap, this is so much important to me. SOS. It's the KOSE facial soap. Haven't I tell you that this soap does wonders to my skin? Because it is specially formulated for acne prone skin and it really helps to treat one. At least for me. I get compliments from my friends after two months of using it (together with the face emulsion of course!) The best part is, it doesn't cost a bomb although it is sold at beauty counter! The pricing is just more or less like buying a local beauty product like Natasya or Sendayu Tinggi and even Felisa cosmetics cost higher. I have an acne prone skin remember? So I HAVE TRIED all kinds of products with various prices and effects.
Being me, since I thought that my skin has improved, I decided to try the whitening product. So I bought this white powder wash in April together with Shirosumi essence. They are a bit pricier but I want it, hoping for a smooth white skin.

But then it hit me! Even though it is from the same brand, they don't suit my skin at all. I started to develop tiny pimples at my chin and it looks horrible. Well at first I thought it could be the hormone and the sun (since we just got back from Langkawi) but it doesn't heal. I on the other hand is still keep using it since first, because of the price. mahal tu. rugi tak guna. and second, I am still hoping for a miracle. After three months, those pimples do not stop growing at my face, and now has developing a habitat at my forehead and the worst part is people has started to notice and asks me why? stress..stress.. When I like to pick on them, it leaves an ugly, big scars on my face so I have to find another resort which is to cure it with DalacinT. But ini pun seems doesn't work for me well like before.

Then I knew that I have to get that facial soap NOW, and can't even wait for weekend to grab it. And so far, I found those tiny pimples has started shrinking upon 1 day of using it. I just hope it will work well for me. Oh yeah, this soap kan can treat backne as well. I used to have one but after belasah the soap at my back, they were gone and never come back.

On the other hand, my lil Sarah has grown up now. Look at her.

She has my lips and my brows. has mr husband's nose too. But I don't know where she got those big eyes.

So her milestones are:-
- She has 7 batang gigi.
- She loves to imitate me like wearing my office pass around her neck, and selongkar my handbag and purse, and playing with my blusher brush and make it a mini broom. (sabar aje lah)
- She likes me to reading her books.
- She loves to play with cats, look at hens and cocks and fishes and refering them as ' Bubu'
- She now accepts instructions like after changing her diapers (only if she peed) she is the one who throw the used diapers to the dustbin and put her clothes in the laundry basket. Although sometimes, she is confused and mistakenly put the diaper in the basket and vice versa. ;)
- She is one active girl.

My ex male boss always asks me whether has she started sucking her own toes? which means when am I going to get pregnant again. I got sick everytime he asked me the same old question again and again. ( he started asked this since Sarah is just 6 months old yo!) And when he asked me again last two days, I just replied " I never teach her to suck her toes" Haha. I hope he understands.

Oh BTW, I want to congratulate my dear friend leen for 'convicted' again with her OP. Can't wait for her to blog about her second pregnancy. She will be my guru for my second pregnancy when I am ready, and have rezeki to have one. Boleh ya leen?

Dream(s) That Have Yet To Realize.

Alhamdulillah, I am blessed with a husband and child, both in laws family and mine as the backbone. But being human, we can never satisfied with current condition. Mesti want 'more' and same goes to me. Jadi tak salah to have a dream. Apa yang penting, how we gonna work to achieve that? Bak kata pepatah, " Shoot for the moon, even if we miss, we'll end up among the stars". Jadi saya should shoot tinggi lagilah, just to get the moon.

1) To have our own dream home.

But we want more. Insyaallah when duit dah cukup and everything went smoothly before we hit the big 3-0. and yay! It will be built in own land. Kawan-kawan, tolong doakan saya ya because we are soooo want this. Nanti saya jemput ke housewarming party kenduri okey?

2. To drive a Nissan Grand Livina Impul.

Sekarang ni, niat untuk berkereta baru makin tebal sejak my Satria asik breakdown aje. Tapi saya sayang dia sebab banyak berjasa. Dia sudah tua, mileage pun sudah exceeds 200,000 km. Jadi apa yang perlu saya expect kan? Tapi, jika beli kereta baru and have to go through another 7-9 years of hire -purchase loan sanggupkah saya? Bagaimana mahu membina rumah idaman kalau macam ni? Ok, hands down. rumah dulu. Priority please! Jangan terlampau beyond imagination!

3. Canon EOS 450D

Saya mahu ini. Sumpah! kerana saya suka ambil gambar. Diulang ya, I love to take pictures, not to get pictured. Some people might find it not convenient as it appears too bulky lah, not handy lah. But not for me. Kerana I believe I have an eye for photography. Lagipun, mahu mengabdikan kenangan anak-anak. Tapi sebenarnya, it doesn't necessary pun to have a DSLR to get good picture pun. With the correct angle and good lighting pasti boleh. Dengan Sony Cybershot tu pun boleh. (thanks to online tutorial yang banyak membantu!) Yang penting kena rajin mencuba. Tapi to have one is an advantage lah. Boleh feeling-feeling photographer gitu. hihihi. Last two months, hampir-hampir sign up with one photography class, but since I had problem with the Paypal registration, terus pending sampai sekarang. Nampaknya have to change plan, maybe to get this and go for that EOS class lagi berbaloi agaknya?

Harap-harap, our bonus this year (as if there is any)won't reduce much lower than before. Btw, my birthday is just less than 5 months. Early gifts are much welcome! ;D

A Rice Marathon and The Pau Baby.

I had a special rice marathon today.

Had nasi lemak breakfast with paru at 10.00 am, and a delicious nasi minyak at my cousin's wedding at 11.15 am. It's so sedap and absolutely a guilty pleasure. The condiments are just nice and perfect. And the wedding, all went smoothly except for an inexperienced bridesmaid that she should see and learn more how a bridesmaid should perform.

Anyway, we dropped by at my friend's house to visit her newborn baby. Abot, your Dhia Rizqi is absolutely cute and so tembam and gebu like those kuih pau you served me this afternoon. I am sorry if the gifts are too simple. FYI, i would love to get something from Mothercare since it's on sale and I may get good gifts with better price, but I have no time babe. My husband was extremely busy this week and he never allowed me to go out alone with my baby. The truth is, he is afraid if I could not handle our girl. So, I bought your gifts last night. Hopefully you will like it and I am sure Rizqi will look handsome on the Disney shirt. Those baby fan, the idea came up since I thought you might need it and you have yet to buy it. Because during my time, it didn't even on my to-buy lists. So I thought, maybe you too but boy I was wrong. If my friend thought that I am a left brainer person, I almost forgot you are one creature that Allah bless with the most left brainer thinking. How could I think that you will miss to buy that? Silly me. Oh I have an idea. You can put one at the baby cot, and one in a car. You might need it later like when you bring him out to stroll the park or maybe some tasik in a hot weather and suddenly there you go, you have an extra fan in the car. Baby Rizqi won't be cranky because of that baby fan that Aunty Aisyah bought you that keeps him cool. Hohoho..

Errm, did I think too much?

Terima Kasih En Pemandu.

Hari ini ada beberapa perkara baik happen to me.

Serius weh, those people yang stay at Rawang will stuck with traffic jam forever jika kerajaan tak buat sesuatu.

Biasalahkan, even Satria saya pun semput. Thank you mr drivers.

Baik kan mereka?
