When our baby has grown up and in her toddler years, of course there would be many exciting things can be done or share with. One thing that most parent should prepare is when our kids has started talking and started asking us questions.
I still remember when my mom used to babysit our neighbour's daughter, she drove us mad with asking us questions on and on again. It was tiresome especially when we could not gave satisfiying answers to her.
Tho' Sarah haven't ask us those kind of questions, we think that we should prepare or google on it in advance. You know, just to be sure.
So, during our visit to the shopping mall last tuesday, there was a books clearance at the Centre court of Ikano. While I was scouring for some good readings, I spotted one book that will definitely be my guidance soon.
It's a thick book, with lots of possible Q&A for kids and it is cheap.
When I flipped through the book, I found that it is just not for kids but it is for us (adults) too. (or at least for me.) They have those kind of basic questions like " What is a sky"? kind of questions but the book offers more.
Do you ever know when the flush toilet invented. I was stunned and laughing all day. and Sarah, Are you going to ask momma this question?
And even explain on glaciers, which for sure great for info but I think if my daughter were fed by these kind of facts and info during the early years, Don't you think she will become a geek someday? and no fun at all. I don't want to spoil her childhood memories that much lah.
Or maybe I would. :)
