Peace Of Mind.

Apa definisi peace of mind pada hari sabtu anda? Tidur lewat bangun lewat? Diet free day?

Pada saya,

Bila saya sudah siap (I hate) laundry job.

Esok seems to be a busy day for me, nak visit my dad's for a family meeting and nak buat a little shopping for my trip to Korea in early November.

November is an Autumn season with a temperature of 6.9 degree C. Gilerrr... Air-cond temperature 19 deg C pun tak boleh nak belahhhh....

Need to do a check list (like the usual me)...

Need to bring my two camera to Korea, a DSLR and my digital Sony. Karang gambar aku takde langsung! Lecehlah...

Need to kiss mwaahhh mwaahhh Sarah before I left her for 5 days. That's long enough for me!

Apapun, need to save a lot of money after this. Plans changed! Budget 2010 sudah berubah.

Kami panggil ia Budget1Famili, Tabung ayam di penuhkan, Hutang di langsaikan. Baru betul-betul peace of mind.

Full Tummy Really Made My Day.

Semalam adalah hari yang begitu mengenyangkan! We had our annual jamuan hari raya, people get dressed with their boom boom pow attire and make ups. I wore baju kurung only and some people say that I look so pucat like a pregnant lady. How I wish for that... :)

We have every level of building, combining with different departments serving different kind of food but I guess ours had served the best food because we have delicious kuzi kambing and the queue was long.

kuzi kambing belum sampai time ni!

Kisah Cuti Hari Isnin.

Bercuti pada hari isnin adalah menyeronokkan! Not exactly bercuti lah, I took emergency leave for running some errands.

First, untuk ke pejabat daerah. OMG, the people are so not supposed to be as a frontliners. Tidak ber-informative langsung. I query for macam mana nak isi borang pun jawab acuh tak acuh. Macam mana lah sektor bukan swasta ni nak maju! Mungkin betul apa yang one of my friend (pekerja bukan swasta) kata, those area maybe sebab tak ramai orang berurusan jadi pekerja sudah complacent. Tapi memang nampak betul sangat rileks. Like how often lah kan orang nak berurusan di pejabat tanah kecuali ada hal atau setiap tahun sebelum 31 May untuk bayar cukai?

Kedua, untuk ke JPN. I have problems with my thumbprint. Tak match dengan IC jadi I have problems bila nak berurusan dengan bank. Orang ramai giler (macam biasa) but the frontliners are so good and efficient. Jadi menguatkan lagi kenyataan kawan saya itu. Mereka sangat membantu dan ber-informative. See see, bukan semua frontliners bukan swasta begitu.

Jadi kami menonton Papadom! Serious best. I always have a 'thing' for local movies sebab jalan ceritanya yang sooo us and so our culture. Bila menonton cerita melayu macam tengok kehidupan harian kita kecuali cerita-cerita David Teoh yang kalau cerita aksi merempit, atau drift alahai~~ poyo nya!

Ini adalah first time for us menonton wayang selepas melahirkan Sarah, atau seingat saya selepas berkahwin pun memang sudah jarang-jarang tengok wayang since Mr husband's schedule yang tak menentu.

We cried and laugh just in a 1 minute interval. Mr husband (apatah lagi saya) tangkap leleh je.

Go watch this movie people!

Birthday Celebration.

I celebrated my husband's birthday in Chillis. It was hard to choose whether to have a Thai food or a western but after a while Mr husband chose the latter one.

The birthday guy.

Anak birthday guy.

We were glad that the place wasn't full house as usual and very easy to get seated as it was 12 noon when we arrived. It doesn't took us long to decide what to eat and the best part was the kids eat for free.. Yeah!

Mushroom swiss for me.

Lamb shoulder for Mr husband.

Chicken fillets and fries for sarah.

I asked him to choose whatever he wants at the mall (within my budget of course) but he refused. At last it was me who bought a new pair of jeans from Dorothy Perkins (I always love their collection as they flatter my UK body size).

And, sebab the budget for his birthday present is still available, I bought Sarah her new toy! She loves it.

Notice that there is no single picture of mine? The only disadvantage for having a DSLR because Mr husband does not really want to operate it. He doesn't have the passion, that's why!

Happy Birthday Mr. Husband.

Thanks for being such a very nice husband and a good father to our daughter. We love you!

She's A Fighter, She's So Much With an Attitude, She's My Daughter.

I have so many things to update on Sarah. She is 1.5 years old and we actually missed her actual appointment date for her last jab. Just realize it last thursday and so glad that Mr. husband willingly to drive her alone there. Well, usually if it is for check up only he will go by himself but for a jab, I need to be there to hold Sarah since she's freaked out. Very rare to see husbands go for their child appointment by themselves kan? Proud of him.

Sarah has been very easy to handle though at times we are still have to face with her attitude. At nights, she will fall asleep at around 9-ish and we both are very glad for having our time for leisure. Speaking of this, at first I thought that she is naturally a fast asleep child but after keep rewinding and remembering past times, it is actually us who teach her to sleep early. When she was around 4 ~ 6 months, she was put in bed at around 8-ish although she was still awake. The lights are off and we even lay down beside her to put her in mood. ( and that was where i missed Buletin Utama and even Oprah!). It has become her routine now and she is quite easy to put into bed and hardly wakes up at night. Parenting tip for today: If we want our child to do something, we too must do the same thing. Macam kes ini, kerana kami mahu Sarah tidur awal, kami pun (pura-pura) tidur awal.

Sarah can be as sweet as lollipop or as cute as bunny but she can change her attitude just in a minute. She is quite garang and I really like the fact that she is a fighter and doesn't like people around to bully her. We went for an open house last sunday and there were bunch of toddlers are playing together and Sarah joined them. Suddenly a 2 year boy went to Sarah and smacked her head by using a toy car. I was surprised and wanted to grab her fast but before I could do that, she smacked the boy with a toy lorry. Even bigger and more painful. Serves him right and I am very proud of her. Even his father said the same thing because the boy is so stubborn.

Now she is as cute as bunny.

Next she may be your worst nightmare. Hahaha

My father said that her attitude is exactly like mine when I was small. No surprise there, it's in the blood. I hope she will have both of our attitude (very determine like me and friendly like mr husband). Seriously, she is so friendly. She waves her hands to everyone i.e other kids, even to an ice cream man and to a totally strangers.

She can be independent sometimes. Setakat nak suruh put her used clothes in the laundry basket, or throw her diapers to the dustbin, buka pakai kasut sendiri, tolong main-main air while I wash the plates and kemas-kemas rak pinggan takde hal. (The latter tu, sarcasm ok)

Boleh diharap dah!

Tapi, paling dia suka honking everyone. She knows the location of the horn in my car or her father's. Selamba je honk bising-bising. Anak dara saya lasak orangnya.

Nevertheless, dia tetap has a girly feelings, suka tengok cermin. Maybe she thinks she's cute and whe she saw her reflextion, her reaction was "Eeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiii"

She is still a picky eater when she is with me, and most of the times she wants to feed by herself. Kalau tak dapat menangis macam kena cubit.

But end up, it was not what her wants. Cuma nak play with food.

Inilah dia, buah hati, pengarang jantung kami suami isteri. Penat macam mana pun rasa relief bila tengok wajah dan keletah dia.

Seronok kan ada junior sendiri?

Lepas Geram.

Been craving for it since puasa and alangkah hampa pabila memandu jauh pada pukul 9 pagi tetapi terpaksa pulang kehampaan kerana ia belum di buka. Frust menonggeng kami.

Our all time favourites are Spicy Sambal and BBQ. What's yours?

Suggestion Needed

My husband's birthday is coming up in this Sunday but seriously, I do not have any idea on what to get him. It is kinda hard choosing a present for him because he already has everything and since he is not a kind of 'stylo' man which need to have wardrobe upgrade every two months, nor he never a brand concious, he just happy with anything nice and cheap.

I thought of giving him a new watch, but he already got one before raya.

I thought of buying him a new sneaker, but he just get a Nike for raya.

or maybe I could buy him a nice sandal for casual outing,

or just buy him a lunch or dinner and wandering around the mall, letting him to choose a gift on his own. But where to?

Is it Chilli's, or Tony Roma's ( Are the steaks halal?) or Nasi Padang Sari Ratu? or belanja makan famous satay aje or even a homemade cooked?

or senang give chocolates but he does not fancy them.

Or do you have any idea. Please suggest.

The Answer of The Teaser.

To You, chill lah ok!

Leen and husband paid me a visit for hari raya last week. So happened they had attended a function in KL and on their way to the relative's which very close to my place.

It was very happy to welcome them since I've been longing to meet Balqis, her daughter. She is such an adorable toddler and talkative too since she already started to talk. Seriously, we can hear and understand the word. Seeing her reminds me of her mother, very gebu :P

Sarah is happy to have Balqis around but at some point I found that she is kinda dominating, when they played together, tak baik begitu Sarah, kongsi-kongsi lah!

Them, side by side. Notice tak the difference of body size? Sarah looks so thin besides Balqis. Geram saya dengan badan dia.

Berebut toy. Sorry Balqis, Sarah tak biasa.

Gigi dah penuh dah. Saya sibuk ambil gambar dia pulak.

While Sarah cuba to attract us with some action.

Budak kecik ni sibuk nak kemas balang kuih saya. Nasib baik plastik.

Thanks Leen for the visit, aku akan cuba usahakan untuk ke Semenyih pula! Insyaallah.
