Should I or Shouldn't I Change My Job?

Ok, this entry agak memualkan and exaggerating. Prepare yourself with a bucket and ready to puke.
I am bored. yeap, to the max! Why? because i don't like my job. despite the salary and the big fat bonus we'll get every year. Well, I do like my current job but in a different perspective. I guess i slipped into a different league which totally don't suit me that well. But I fairly learn about it and quite success in my current area. Everything seems to be on my finger tips. But that is it. I just learn what i need to learn and to know. Not more than that. So unsatisfying me! The only good about the job is the job itself. No rush, a little bit of stress that by the time it's 5.45pm u'll totally forget about that, No hassle, No everything. Nothing actually. I don't feel worked. Unlike my N3C days (which were 20x hectic and stressful that you can't sleep properly at nights, and sometime i secretly cried at 12 midnight while waiting at the assembly machine to complete the engineering lot . Haha..rahsia terbongkar) but towards the end of the day, i felt happy and satisfied. Then i found this at Blogthings and tried it out..

Your Job Satisfaction Level: 58%

Your job is about average. There are some parts you really enjoy, and some parts that stress you out.

It's possible that you need a small change. Maybe you should switch companies or positions.

It's also possible that you're simply burned out. No job is perfect, even a great one.

Give yourself a personal day to think about your career goals - and if your current job is helping you achieve them.

See, only 58% of satisfaction. Yes, maybe I need a change like switch a company or a department. Hmm.. Ok,
If I were to change a department, I want:-
- A good, firm boss who will stick to the SOP no matter what.
- A boss who remembers what he said after 24 hrs.
- A boss who will stop saying, " Saya bukan apa, saya tak percaya pada si polan-si polan"
- A boss who knows how to delegate his work to the subordinates other than the usual me and yanti
- A boss who brave enough to speak his mind and propose for things that we loooooooooooonging to have.
- No dummy boss to a boss please.
or
If I were to change a company, I want:-
- A good salary
- More or at least the same rate of bonus like now.
- 9 am to 5 pm working time.
- Working from home is allowable. (Brownie point!)
- Internet connection for every employee.
- Designated room for every executive level and above (many company provide this)
- Unlimited claimable medical allowance including maternity periodical check ups and labor charges.
Ok that's all. Agak- agak ada tak?
My abilities and strength is:-
- I follow SOP strictly.
- I think i am a left brainer.
- I am able to make the other party to respond to my urgent email ASAP. ( Everybody can too by using a proper words. A simple writing like " Dear Ms Blah" Please refer to the attachment and respond to it" is a major No-No.
- I am good at technical report writing with the course taken during my uni days and my N3C days.
- I am a certifed auditor for ISO TS16949 but have no chance to utilise it yet.
- I am a mother. I suffered the most painful thing (giving birth). So what makes you think i am not capable enough to your company?
p/s: Agak-agaknya ada tak potential future bosses yang terbaca..Ha ha ha
Entry ini is only related to myself and the immediate boss only. The company is proven as among the top Malaysian brand/company. The success of the company is in a hands of inspiring, commited and brave management and directors.
