The Competetive Niece

I think most budak kecik especially girls are being very competetive among them. I still remember when i was small and always being compared with my cousin (same age with me) in everything. Sangat pressure ok. Tapi sekarang ni, dah nampak dah yang competetive culture nak menular kepada Sarah. My 5 year old niece of hubby's side is the one. According to her mom, this adorable girl namely Ada, tak mahu kalah kalau bercakap tak kira dengan sesiapa pun. Budak kecik, Orang dewasa, atuk, nenek suma nak menang, unlike her little brother, Iman. We find it funny anyways. Everytime she came to our home, dia akan bukak Sarah's closet and claim that she has everything bigger or nicer than what Sarah has. Her usual lines are "Ala, kita pun ada benda ni, lagi cantik/besar tapi kat rumah" but when he brother heard and he knew that it is a plain lie, he quickly said " Tak, Ada tipu. Mana ada kat rumah". This girl kencenggg kuat nih. Kelakar betul. Abis adik dia kena ketuk kepala.

Satu hari, masa kat HBSB tengah duduk-duduk ada seorang budak pakai rantai manik which she also wore but the girl's bigger. Then my hubby (hubby pun satu) saja menyakat dia, " Ada, tengok budak tu punya rantai lagi besar dari Ada.." and her reply was her usual line la.." Kita pun ada, tapi kat rumah" My hubby dah gelak sakan dah..

This is the girl. Nampak tak rantai manik tu?

Habis Sarah macam ni, nasib baik their age gap pun besar. I just hope Sarah tak macam tu. It is good actually to be competetive but better to keep within ourselves aje kut.. But little girls are just little girls. We find everything on them funny, cute and adorable.
