Sambutan Hari Jadi: Edisi 2

Jom layan gambar...

Sebahagian ahli keluarga Arwah Mahadi.

Yang best tentang family in laws ni mereka punya semangat teamwork tu. Kalau ada kenduri kendara tak payah susah payah nak fikir. Guna khidmat mereka aje. Saya suka.

Muka teruja sebab nampak makanan.

Ini kek Sarah. Last minute cake yang dibeli di SR aja.

Sebab ada dua orang nak celebrate birthday, maka ada 2 kek. Yum!

Birthday girl and birthday boy. Plus bapak kepada birthday girl.

Sepupu-sepupu saya yang masih kecil menyanyikan happy birthday song. Kan saya kata siblings FIL 16 orang? FIL yang the eldest tau!

Potong kek. Birthday girl dah hilang fokus sebab mengantuk.

Then come the funnest part, goodie bags giveaway. All the kids suka lah.

Ini goodie bag dari kami. Isi dalam nya tak payah lah cerita.

Goodie bag birthday boy. Macam-macam ada.

Sarah dapat dua presents dari Atok-atoknya. Thank you. The rest bagi duit aje.

Alhamdulillah, semuanya selesai.

Our Langkawi Journal.

Salam everyone.

I'm back to blogging after having enough rest and ample time to do the laundry, meeting up with the family members, so on and so forth.

We arrived at home on Friday at 1 pm. We were very lucky this time because we manage to get the earlier (return) flights (and the hot seats too) and did not wasted out time at the airport. Our flights were rescheduled during departure for 2 hours later and the officer was kindly restructure the seats for us. But for our return flight, we have to beg the officer. I would say that the officer was nosy and arrogant. He didn't even check in the system for available seats and instead gave lame answer that says, any reschedule must be done in 48 hrs before take off. Only after the third time, he refered to his female boss and with just one glance, his boss said yes. Lucky us but i am still mad at the guy officer for being arrogant.

Everything didn't work smoothly as we hope because Sarah is suffered from Diarrhea on Tuesday morning and I doubt she ate something unusual the day before. She poop every 2 hrs and it was very hard for us. We had to check her diapers every now and then because we are very afraid if her bum become itchy and reddish and that is the real nightmare when she wouldn't stop crying.

The first day, we checked in at the hotel and took a rest and studied the map. We did strolled at the beach in the afternoon and Sarah was afraid with it as the waves moving towards her. Maybe she thought that the waves wanted to eat her feet. She screamed and cried so we left the beach for the pool. We especially me had fun at the pool. But poor my husband because he has to be with Sarah all the time since she only wants him to accompany her. My husband did not get to enjoy his moment at the pool all four days. We monitored that she didn't poop for more that 5 hrs so we thought everything was okay.

During the night, Sarah poop every 2 hrs. We quickly change her diaper and wash her bum and we saw her reddish bum. Great! The nightmare has begun. The next day, we checked for nearest clinic after breakfast. One thing about Langkawi that I didn't like was, it was hard to find a clinic and most of the clinics operates in 9am to 5pm basis. We found one, Klinik Delima at Padang Mat Sirat but the queue was so long and we waited for more than 1 hr because the doctor hasn't in yet. We just left the clinic and decided to find one at Kuah. But we didn't find one. Sarah didn't poop during the day and she cried during diapers changing when it contacts with water. I know, it's very itchy. Poor my baby.

Later in the afternoon, we found one near Pantai Cenang but it was closed. I couldn't bear to see Sarah because she's so weak, she's dehydrated and didn't eat much and just consume plain water and FM only. I saw one pharmacy on our way to Pantai Cenang and decided to just get her medicine there. The pharmacist prescribed her with a cream and a soluble drink. and this is the best part that I wanted to share with all mommies but maybe some of you have discovered this cream. The cream worked like magic. We applied it on her bum and in less than 10 hrs, the reddish was gone. And Sarah didn't cried when we touched it. All this while, we have tried many creams and many ways to treat the problem but to no avail. Be it the cream prescribed by her paed, tepung ubi, rash powder the Agnesia and so on, which usually took 3-4 days to be cured. But not this one, so mommies go get this cream at the nearest pharmacy but please consult with the pharmacist first and use it as per recommended.

The magic cream that heal her bum in less than a day!

We started our island hopping really late but it was okay. We didn't plan to have water activity very much and cruising the lake and any related because (we thought) it wasn't suitable for us. There was not much places of interest we went but we had so much fun. Let the pictures do the blogging. ;p

The porcupine reminds me to my lidi mengaji long time ago.

I think the underwater world is not worth paying for. ;(

We arrived at Geopark at 8-something and waited to ride in the cable car only later discover it starts at 10 am. We did not want to wait and just left the place.

We bought this 'piring' during our visit to Makam Mahsuri. Since it was windy, i asked the adik to take our pictures for many times due to my senget tudung. The adik quit pissed off with me (too bad) and even pissed more whe she read " YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME", loudly printed on my tee. Ngeh ngeh ngeh...

The private beach at Langkasuka Resort was nice so does the room. It reminds me to Swiss Garden Resort of Kuantan.

I really love the food in here. The above was just among the food we had. Everyday was a seafood day and sangat-sangat cheap. I really recommend Restoran Haji Ramli near Pantai Cenang. Marvellous foodies

Overall holiday was really great. We relaxed, woke up earlier than at home and eat as much as we want. It is okay for us for not going to many places because the most important thing was Sarah has recovered from her itchy bum. I bought lots of choccies for family and friends. We will definitely come again next time and surely will save to stay at better resort. Next aim is Pelangi Beach Resort Deluxe. We fell in love with it.

On our flight to home, Sarah was actively panjat memanjat and peeking to other passengers.
We've done the laundry on the Friday itself and I already finish fold them and ironing my office attire.

I am so rejuvenate.

It's a Double Celebration.

We had a very fun yesterday, celebrating my day and especially my Sarah's birthday. I mark the 19th April as my day as well because I was the one who gone through all the pain in the labor room. So, my husband decided to celebrate me as well. ;). but only for this time tho'. After this it is gonna be Sarah's official day.

At first, we decided to eat at our favorite pizza place but after a while, he thought that Domino's is so usual that we should try another place and let me to decide. Since we wanted to eat pizza, I chose to dine at Italiannes @ The Curve, and it was our first time in there!

I fell in love with the place. The ambiance was cozy and silent. It didn't took so long to make an order because everything look so delicious and we chose to have pizza and pasta for our late lunch.

Overall food were so delicious especially the linguine. Even Sarah likes it too. It was funny seeing her chewing the soft linguine in her full mouth. Dah besar dah Sarah, boleh makan mii...

The best thing was Sarah didn't throw her tantrum while we eat. She just sat nicely at the high chair and demand to be carried at few moments. The rest, she just played by herself in her own playland. Bagus kan kalau Sarah ada adik? ;P

Later that night, we went to my father's and brought some food and suddenly felt like celebrating her birthday. It was an instant, last minute plan and we just bought any available cake. As expected, the cake wasn't so nice at all. But it worth for a candle blowing moment for Sarah.

and tomorrow, we are headed to Langkawi by air. A gift for Sarah to experience the in-flight moment.

Is Langkasuka Beach Resort is still this good? I wish for.

Got to go, i have luggage to be done. See ya!

Gee..My Baby Has a Longer Lists Than Mine!

I live my saturday as usual, woke up a bit late than usual and do the (never ending) house chores. The ambiance is quite hotter unlike the other days which is good because the laundry dries quickly.

I am making the traveling list and Sarah seems to have a never ending lists. My husband has the least things to bring, followed by me and the small champion Sarah. We did our last shopping this evening and ready for the pre-packing tomorrow. I so can't wait anymore!

On a different story, Sarah is going to turn 1 year old tomorrow. Very much active now, and today she learnt something. She learnt how to sprinkle a powder to the whole body and look like a snow girl and be happy. ;D. I was not angry when she made all the mess as I don't want to limit her actions and capabilities. And this is her capability to mess a house. haha.

I love you Sarah.

Luggage, Swimsuit and Waroeng Penyet.

We already made plans for our weekend, that was to shop for a new luggage. I have mine but in a very small size. As a first time traveller with baby some more, of course we need more rooms to pack her diapers, FM and what not.

Well I thought it gonna be an awesome saturday, being able to go out as early as 10.00 am (that's early for us) but the true fact was tiresome. We started our day by having a late nasi lemak breakfast at my father's and after a few chit chatting, all of us started to doze off. The nasi lemak must be really something. But we didn't sleep anyway, and quickly headed to The Curve.

I was looking for a swimming gear for Sarah like an arm band but it is so pricey at Mothercare. I found one floating tube at The Early Years at a reasonable price but there was no stock for Sarah's age. I guess, we just buy it at any shops afterall only god knows when Sarah is able to use it again right?

We had our lunch at Waroeng Penyet. I always wanted to try eating there as there are so many good reviews about the food. This restaurant actually serve Indonesian food which to me it is not that ' MANTOP' as people always said. The good thing was the fast service and the bad things were the ambiance was hot and too crammed with so many people. But my husband really likes the food especially the Ayam penyet. We had Ayam penyet, ikan talapia bakar (which Riverside punye taste better!), nasi, keropok, es limau for mr husband and es milo dinasorus (which is actually milo ais with a sprinkle of milo on top of it). Overall it was just okay-okay aje lah.

We then headed to the Brands Outlet Store. I think every people must know this place. It's a heaven for a branded clothes especially for kids apparel. I love buying Sarah clothes here. It was not because I am into branded goods, but they always offer good clothes with pretty design and cute colors. And the best part the prices are 1/3 to 1/2 of the retail price. Yes, the cheap price is due to rejected goods but hey, be smart lah kan when making choices. Isn't that what women are specialized at? We are very detail kan... I will go for bargain store to find good clothes for Sarah because she grow up very fast and sekejap je baju dah sempit. I bought a few dress and clothes at GAP store and agak frust bila pakai sekali pastu dah tak muat dah. Hmmph!

Ah yes, we bought a cheap big luggage that for sure will fit in our clothes, and a few apparel for Sarah.

Notice that peach swimsuit? It's from GAP with only RM19.90 tau. and also the colorful baby tights with only RM16.90 each. and I really like the glittering, whitish cardigan from Debenhams. The price was 70% slashed and it is really cheap. and wanna see my baby model for the swimsuit..?

Tada...

Isk.Longgar lah.. Model pun muka masam jer sebab tak fit. Hisap paci lagi besh.

I didn't bought any baju for me but I indulge in these..

Nyum..nyum.. a perfect combination with a chessecake and it's a double indulgence. Walla~

A Tiring Day and A Celebration.

Hari ini rasa penat sangat-sangat. Mungkin sebab rushing ke sana, ke sini.
9 April 2009 tarikh Sarah untuk her 1 year old jab. Setiap kali nak cucuk, saya mesti ambil half day and saya dan husband akan pergi bersama-sama.

Tapi takpe, Sarah pun okay and for the nurse itu kan part of her learning and belum pro lagi. Then, kami tinggalkan Sarah pada Mak Ros sebab ada urusan lain. Since we are currently working on something, jadi pergi lah mengukur jalan sekejap. Memang tak lepaskan peluang langsung, mana ada chance nak tido macam ni when Sarah is around kan?

Hilarious but meaningful kan?
Jadi tadi kami celebrate birthday abah. Tapi, she's getting better after a few therapy.

As we get older, dan berjumpa ramai orang, dengan pengaruh arus moden lagi, keluarga ini meneutralkan saya.

Yay! Esok dah hari jumaat. Looking forward untuk hari Ahad sebab nak get our hands on some items. We are going for a simple vacation in 10 days time.

Saya teruja.

I Didn't Live It Up.

On Friday night, pergi company dinner.
